Accelerated Weathering

Arizona Desert Testing uses two accelerated weathering test methods:

ACUVEX® for exterior materials
ACUVEX® is the name of our proprietary accelerated weathering test, designed to meet or exceed the requirements of ASTM G90, "Accelerated Outdoor Weathering of Nonmetallic Materials Using Concentrated Natural Sunlight". ACUVEX® also meets or exceeds requirements of ISO 877, SAE J576, SAE J1961, ASTM D4141, D4364, and D5722.

AZTEST® Fixtures for Automotive Interior Materials
AZTEST® Fixtures refers to our accelerated weathering tests designed to meet GMW 3417, GM 9538P, and Ford DVM0020. With the acquisition of the weathering business from the GM DPG (Desert Proving Grounds), AZTEST now offers over 300 test cabinets that are ideal for evaluating the weatherability of automotive interior materials.
